Couture Cake Jewelry was one of the first online monogram cake topper companies. It originated by a professional wedding cake decorator who owned her own award winning wedding cake bakery in Tucson, AZ. Since she made wedding cakes, she specifically designed the toppers to be extremely light weight and the proper dimensions for the top tier of a wedding cake. The light weight material also enables us to be one of the only companies to offer the actual letter in different colors, not just the usual silver or gold color that most metal toppers offer.

In 2007, I saw a monogram that one of the designers of the company was making and was so impressed by the beautifully stunning quality in this unique and customized "cake jewelry". I knew right away that I wanted to be a part of this company! She introduced me to the owner, who took me under her wing and showed me how close attention to detail is what made these special items so gorgeous.
I worked with her closely to learn her very high standards of running a business and becoming a highly trained monogram designer. Then, at the beginning of 2009, she trusted me to carry on the torch and sold me the company!
Since then, I have worked tirelessly to improve the quality of our items, add new items and make customer service my top priority! I love working with the brides-to-be to get just the right color combination and style that will go perfectly with her wedding scheme.
I also enjoy getting special requests and working with clients to create unique ideas that they have for their special event, like using Roman numerals instead of regular numbers for a "25th" anniversary topper. "XXV", what a great idea!

Q: How long does it take for the monogram topper to be completed?
A: Please allow 5-6 weeks for a regular order to arrive, for US addresses, and 6-7 weeks for orders to Canada, Australia or the UK. It takes our supplier 10 days to 2 weeks to cut the letters and get them to us. Then we need production time to design the monogram, add crystals to the topper and allow time for the topper to cure properly before it can be prepped for shipping. It is a labor-intensive process and we want to make sure that we do each step just right so that we can produce a beautiful, high quality product.
Q: I just found your website and my wedding is a couple weeks away! Can you RUSH AN ORDER?
A: We will try to accommodate Rush orders. Please email us before placing your order and tell us exactly what you are looking for and when you need it shipped by. As mentioned in the previous question, we need at least 10 days to get the letters cut. However, we do have a small inventory of pre-cut letters that are ready to be covered with crystals and shipped out within a week. The Rush option to receive your order in 3-4 weeks is only available for US orders. The cost is an additional $25 and can be added when selecting shipping, during checkout.
Q: Where do I find the monogram prices and detail options?
A: The pricing and detail options (i.e. fonts, letter colors, crystal colors) can be found by clicking on the word “Monogram” at the top of any page, then click on the photo of the monogram style that you are interested in, like Single or Couple etc.
Q: So you use Swarovski Crystals on your cake toppers?
A: Yes, we use authentic Swarovski Elements crystals from Austria.
Q: Do you make custom designed toppers or other fonts by request?
A: We can usually accommodate most requests. You will need to provide a .TTF font file for reproduction of a custom font or you can send the .ai vector file of your lettering. For a custom design, we would need an .eps or .ai vector file. We can create the needed file for you for a $40 designer fee.
Q: I’m not sure which colors to pick. Can you help me choose the best
colors for my monogram cake topper?
A: We have custom designed crystal color combinations to help you choose the best combinations of letter colors and crystal colors. Remember, you don't have to pull all of your wedding colors into your cake topper, especially if you have colors with a lot of contrast (i.e. Burgundy & Ivory). Consider the colors you are using on your wedding cake and compliment those colors on the cake topper. We are happy to help you with color choices so feel free to email us any photos you may have of your flowers or cake, etc., and we’ll get back to you with suggestions.
Q: Are the monograms made of stainless steel or aluminum?
A: Neither. They are made out of a lightweight, acrylic material, which allows us to offer them in so many colors.
Q: Why are the partially covered monograms almost the same price as the
fully covered monograms?
A: It takes our designers a lot of time to design a partially covered monogram and place each individual crystal. The longer design time and intricate, detailed work is why the partially covered monograms are almost the same price as the fully covered monograms.
Q: Are the triple monogram letters connected?
A: No, the letters are not connected. For the Triple Monogram, the larger letter is placed behind the two smaller letters so they will partially overlap for added dimension. They were specifically designed like this so they could fit on top of a 6” cake.
Q: I’m trying to order a Triple Monogram, but the font I want is not on the menu for the 2” tall letters.
A: Some of our fonts, like Allegro and Baroque, become too thin when cut at 2” tall. However, if you can order these fonts for the larger, middle letter of a Triple Monogram.
Q: How does the monogram stand on the cake?
A: We will attach small wooden dowels, which are food safe, into the bottom of each letter so it is ready to be inserted into the cake. Afterwards, gently twist the dowel, while carefully holding your monogram, and show off your monogram on the display stands we provide free with your order.
Q: How come my tracking number isn’t showing up on the USPS website?
A: USPS does not provide order tracking. Delivery confirmation information
doesn't show up in the USPS system until after the item has been delivered.
Q: What is the best way to contact you if I have a question or want to check on the status of my order?
A: Since we are located in Arizona, and sell our monograms nationwide and internationally, we prefer to conduct our correspondence via email. This also allows us to have a written record of any detailed questions or concerns about your order. There is a phone number on our contact page for leaving messages and are usually returned within 24 hours, however emailing will usually get a quicker response.
Q: Do you ship Internationally?
A: We now ship to Canada, Australia and the UK! Other countries may be added soon, so please email us to inquire about shipping to another country.
Q: At what point is my order started?
A: As soon as we receive full payment.
Q: Do you wholesale?
A: Due to the labor intensive, hand crafted technique of each monogram topper, we are unable to offer wholesale prices.
